Since opening in 2012, New Street Wine has remained true to its original intention of bringing wine to the centre of people’s tables and conversations. The wine selection has evolved and modernised but the sole objective, giving customers great value for money and the opportunity to sample a wide range of fine wine in a friendly and unpretentious environment, continues.
With a simple ‘pick it and drink it’ approach to wine there is no long and intimidating list to choose from. Instead, the knowledgeable team are available to guide and recommend, removing any illusion that wine is a complicated and confusing subject for only the most elite connoisseurs. Our expert sommelier and Wine Manager Tanguy Martin (previous winner of UK Sommelier of the Year, 2015) is there to share his passion and expertise. With a wide variety of events in store, from after-work blind tastings and food and wine pairing events, to talks from master producers and industry leaders, New Street Wine places a strong focus on education for its diverse customers and plans to develop these initiatives in the future to make wine a talking point and spark a passion amongst all generations.
